I thought the module would lookup the same way that google maps looks up data; by means of entering the address and hitting search.

Now i have a DB with addresses but how can i map it with this info?

TIA

Alright - 2.2.3 has been released, and is available on our website. We will be adding web tutorial presentations monday to provide information on setting up gomap in 3 of its basic configurations (simultaneous, time-lapse, and directory (new to 2.2)), also - check out a sample of the directory here:

http://dnn.bi4ce.com/Modules/GoMap/GoMapFastFood/tabid/289/Default.aspx

The latest version provides a number of corrections, and additions, including the localization changes for the lat/lon (for countries which use a "," in place of a "."), and the child portal folder corrections. Also, the engine has been revamped to greatly improve performance. Also, the installer has been modified for better compatibility of sites still sticking on the 3.0 releases of DNN.

The lookup feature has also been provided, allowing a user to enter an address, which can load the points around that selected geo position. This method is provided in "Directory" mode, and is easily provided within the system.

Please let me know if you hit any snags!

Thanks, and Happy Nuking!

Hi Kevin,
I have watched the tutorials twice and I just couldn't get it. And then I looked t the CSV file. I am seeing that goMap does not allow for an administrator to point to a formatted table with addresses. It looks like you have to know the Longitude and Latitude to make it work. Is that a correct statement?
