I have set the description of the datapoints in the Wizard, but when I go to view the map and click on the datapoints, it opens the bubbles with what appears to only be whitespace. If I use my mouse and click-hold/highlight the area where the description should appear, I can see that it is there (like it is in white font on white background).

I have searched through all the forum posts thinking that this must be a simple problem, but I can't find any similar reports.

Note: I have the same symptom on 2 separate pages, and I also see the symptoms through IE6, IE7 and FireFox.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Can you post a link to your Map in your DNN site?

Thanks,
-Eric

Thanks for responding Eric!

Here it is: www.thealphacommunity.com

You can see it on the small map on the Home page and the big map on the Communities page.

Sorry about the different name. I forgot my password and it wouldn't let me retrieve it <img src='http://www.bi4ce.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/sad.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Sad' align='absmiddle'>

The font color for your container surrounding the GoMap module is #FFFFFF. Try changing the container to something else, or update the style on this module.

The css class that needs to be changed is: EON_ENT_Gray06Content

I hope this helps,
-Eric

OK, that makes sense since the container was white font and I guess the text font of gomap uses that value.

So I changed the container to one that has a darker font, and I can see the text now.

However...now my problem is that the text's position is misplaced. I assume it should be in the text box - not overlaying the top-left border of the text box. Any ideas??

I haven't searched yet, so sorry for the uneducated "while I got your attention" follow-up. If this is elsewhere, you can just tell me to shut up and look for the answer.

Thanks again Eric!

What browser are you using? It looks good for me in Firefox but the screen goes blank if I click in the box in IE. My initial guess is that the skins is somehow conflicting with GoMap but that's just a guess.

Yep, I am using IE. I just checked Firefox and you are right - it looks OK, albeit it's a large baloon for a small amount of text. Nevertheless, I guess I'll tinker with it some more, and if I can't figure it out then I'll talk to the Skin developer. Thanks again!
